That person from Canada needs to find a new club....there is ONE set of rules, as set out by the IRB. There aren't different rules depending on which country your coach comes from.
Maybe not rules, but I know that depending on different coaches, they do things different ways. Like for the longest time we did shorts lifts, but now with our new coaches we are working on leg lifts. It could just be a question of technique?
I have a rugby coach from Ireland, and a coach from Canada. Being coached by Ireland rules & Canadian rules is sometimes tricky, because sometimes, they do clash. But for the most part, they're the same. In Canada, we play with respect. So whoever that anonymous person was, can stop freaking out, and relax. This blog is obviously not ment to be taken to heart.
